WEST Coast utility Patrick McGinnity and developing ruckman Fraser McInnes have both re-signed for 2015.

 

For McGinnity, it is a great reward for fighting his way back into the senior team. The rugged 25-year-old played just seven senior matches in 2013 after playing 40 in the previous two seasons, including five finals.

 

He spent almost the entire first half of Adam Simpson's first-year in charge playing in the WAFL.

 

McGinnity played one match against Geelong in round four but had to wait until round 15 to get another chance and has taken that opportunity with both hands, filling a role as a defensive small forward. He has played 80 games since being picked up in the 2008 pre-season draft.

 

McInnes, 21, has been viewed as a long-term ruck project since he was drafted with pick No.28 in the 2011.

 

He is yet to make his AFL debut but has been developing in the WAFL playing 55 WAFL matches in three seasons.
