NORTH Melbourne is unconcerned about rival interest in out-of-contract midfielder Levi Greenwood and defender Aaron Mullett, confident that both players will be at Arden Street in 2015.
Greenwood bounced back from lean 2012 and 2013 seasons to average 25 possessions a game this year (second at North behind Brent Harvey), becoming a key member of the Roos' midfield with his clearance work and hard running.
The 25-year-old's existing three-year deal with North is set to expire at the end of next month, but AFL.com.au understands he wants to remain a Roo.
Nonetheless, Greenwood and North are yet to agree on a new deal despite prolonged negotiations.
Richmond is one club that is understood to be interested in speaking to Greenwood if his talks with the Roos break down.
But North football director Geoff Walsh told AFL.com.au on Tuesday he had no concerns that the Roos' negotiations with Greenwood had dragged on.
"At this stage of the year, we're talking to Levi and (his manager) Liam Pickering and we've had constant discussions over the past few weeks," Walsh said on Tuesday.
"I'd expect we'd have an outcome shortly."

Mullett is understood to have attracted interest from Collingwood after falling out of favour late this season and missing all three of North's finals.
But the 22-year-old is contracted for 2015 and Walsh says he remains a required player.
"He's contracted, he's had his player review and we expect Aaron to be here. There's no reason to think otherwise," Walsh said.
North's remaining out-of-contract players include Nathan Grima, Michael Firrito, Ben Jacobs and Robin Nahas.
AFL.com.au understands veteran defenders Grima and Firrito are close to signing new one-year deals.
But it is believed Jacobs and the Roos are still haggling over the length of a new deal, with the midfielder seeking a two-year contract and the Roos initially offering a one-year extension with a trigger clause for a second year.
It is believed Nahas' future might not be resolved until North finalises its first list lodgement at the end of October.
North is widely expected to claim Carlton spearhead Jarrad Waite and Western Bulldogs utility Shaun Higgins when the free agency period opens on Friday.
But Walsh said North would not be commenting before then.
"We haven't got any inclination to be fuelling any speculation," he said.
