1. Matt Priddis (MID) $611,000
The Brownlow medallist has always been a good Fantasy performer, but last season the addition of huge scores such as 143, 146 and 147 helped elevate his overall scoring into the elite bracket with a career-high average of 108. The beauty of Priddis is the consistency of his tackling (more than four a game), only twice dropping below four during the season and highlighted by 18 tackles in round 18 against Richmond that provided 72 points.

2. Scott Selwood (MID) $459,000
Role, form and injuries played a part in Selwood’s 27-point drop in average last season. Track his pre-season closely because he is heavily under-priced based on ability.

3. Sharrod Wellingham (FWD/MID) $381,000
An impressive outing for West Coast against the Indigenous All Stars and in the first NAB Challenge match has the former Magpie well and truly on the Fantasy radar this pre-season. Wellingham is priced well below his best and he may just be one of the big improvers for the Eagles.

4. Nic Naitanui (RUC) $413,000
Over the past two years, Naitanui has averaged more than 90 when playing in the absence of retiree Dean Cox, making him a value selection as the Eagles’ No. 1 ruckman.

5. Damien Cavka (MID) $142,000
Cavka averaged 109 in the TAC Cup and 90 in the  NAB AFL Under 18 Championships. Can play a variety of roles, which helps his chances of selection.
