ZAC O'BRIEN will play his first game for the Brisbane Lions since his altercation with coach Justin Leppitsch when the Lions host St Kilda on Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Harwood is in for his first match of the season with Dan McStay (finger) and the omitted Mitch Golby going out of the side.

The Saints, as expected, have regained captain Nick Riewoldt from the nasty concussion he sustained two weeks ago.

They have also named Jarryn Geary, Luke Delaney and Jack Lonie to return.

Sam Fisher is out with a hamstring injury, while Shane Savage, Tim Membrey and Eli Templeton have all been dropped.

The Kangaroos have named captain Andrew Swallow for their crucial clash with Collingwood at the MCG, but the midfielder still needs to pass a fitness test on Saturday breaking his thumb in round seven.

Ben Brown also returns at the expense of omitted duo Ben Jacobs and Mason Wood.

Collingwood has regained Alan Toovey from a knee injury with the defender replacing Tim Broomhead as the only change for the Magpies.

West Coast's Brant Colledge has been rewarded for his stellar form in the WAFL, replacing the suspended Elliot Yeo for the Eagles' only change to face Geelong.

The Cats travel to Perth with an unchanged line-up.
