 		Treloar somehow slips from the Magpies' grasp from here, having very publicly nominated Collingwood as his club of choice ...... Eddie will lop heads. Oh, the embarrassment for Ed if he ends up elsewhere. He won't though. Ed will broker it.
Essendon
 		the Bombers have to choose another coach any time in the next three years ...... there will not be one single candidate who will subject himself to a "process". Hird, Thompson, now Worsfold. Thanks for wasting your time, candidates – hello, this time, to Macca and Burnsy. And thanks, too, to those who provided Paul Little some cover through taking a seat on the coaching sub-committee.
Fremantle
 		Ross the Boss helped turn around, dramatically, the path Michael Walters was once on ...... he’ll do the same with Harley. Don’t ever think we’re dropping off Ross. Well, not yet anyway. And Bennell – he could win a Brownlow.
Geelong
 		you've got arguably the best recruiter in the AFL on your books ...... he ain't gonna be happy with what's going on right now with all these blokes from other clubs coming in. But having said that, Wellsy, we really like what the club is doing.
Gold Coast
 		Harley and Charlie are forced out ...... we admire it for the statement that it makes. But we wait with anticipation - and doubt - as to what happens next.
Greater Western Sydney

 		the Giants don't bolt down every single person on their list ...... SOS is coming for them. Only joking, SOS. Promise! Well, sort of!
Hawthorn
 		our gut feel is right ...... the Hawks are preparing for another 'wow, just how did they get that guy?' type of recruit in the next two weeks.
Melbourne
 		Tom Boyd is on a million-plus bucks a year from here ...... give Jesse two million a year. Maybe two-plus.
North MelbourneHartlett had have said yes ...... the Roos would've been justified in thinking that a gallant prelim final loss in 2015 could lead to a GF in 2016.
Port Adelaide
 		we know one thing ...... it is this: something simply has to give at some stage with this club's salary cap. Hats off to how it has been managed to this point. Seriously. But good luck with what happens from here.
Richmond
 		the Tigers have cast the net over everyone and only bring Yarran to shore ...... it's more than an OK catch. But underwhelming at the same time, given the wonderment in their eyes when they threw the net.
St Kilda
 		the Saints were runaway winners in the 'which team can conjure the most positive headlines in an off-season' category last year ......they are $1.02 to go back-to-back. The real trick, soon, will require them to win enough games of footy to make the finals. Well done, though, re: Carlisle. A seriously good get.
Sydney Swans
 		we weren't born a sceptic ...... we wouldn't be thinking those photos of Bud and Jesinta at Swans headquarters were set-up for a photographer to take.
West Coast
 		every one of the 22 who played against Hawthorn last Saturday is to be totally honest with himself ...... he hasn't gone to sleep easily this week. We're allowing Sheppard the right to have nodded off easily, and not too many more.
Western BulldogsMark Blicavs has the best back-story of the 2015 best-and-fairest winners, and he does, by 1500m at least, maybe 3000m with a couple of jumps thrown in ...... Easton Wood has the second best. Love a back-story.
