• Magpies dump Cloke for third time
• Pies leave door open on Cloke trade
• COMMENT: Where to now for Cloke?

TRAVIS Cloke's future at Collingwood is coming to a close, according to the fans.

In a poll on AFL.com.au that drew more than 19,000 votes, almost 70 per cent of supporters said they believed he would be traded at the end of the season.

Asked if Cloke would return to his best at the Magpies next season, just 13 per cent of those who voted said he could still play an important role.

According to 18 per cent, he would still be at the club but only in a back-up role, spending the majority of the season in the VFL.

The overwhelming majority said he would be at a new club in 2017.

Cloke has been dropped to the VFL this weekend for the third time in 2016.

He will line up for the VFL Magpies on Saturday against Port Melbourne at 1pm at Victoria Park.

On Friday, football manager Neil Balme said the club would not actively shop Cloke around in the NAB AFL Trade Period.

However, he left the door ajar for Cloke – who is contracted for 2017 – to move clubs if there was a deal that suited both the key forward and the club.

"You can't be that categoric, who knows what could happen? We're all open to whatever is going to happen," Balme told SEN.

"But I'll guarantee you that he has a contract and we're more than happy for that all to happen because that's what we all entered into four years ago."

Cloke, who kicked one goal in last week's loss to Richmond, has been replaced by young forward Darcy Moore.

Fellow tall forward Jesse White, who has kicked 17 goals in 13 games, has also been selected ahead of the 29-year-old.

Cloke has kicked 15.14 in 12 games this season, his lowest tally since 2006.

He has kicked multiple goals five times, with a season-high of four goals against Greater Western Sydney in round 16.
