HAWTHORN will go in unchanged for the first time this season as it faces Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.

The Hawks had remained tight-lipped about possible inclusions for the clash with the Power after last week's stirring win over Sydney, with key forward Tim O'Brien linked as a possible addition after missing two weeks with a hip complaint.

However, the Hawks will go in with the same side that knocked off the Swans and notched its fourth win of the season.

Port Adelaide is also unchanged after its last-gasp loss to Geelong last week.

Star midfielder Chad Wingard is expected to be back in one or two weeks as he recovers from a calf strain.

Angus Monfries must also continue to wait for his return to senior football, having last played for the Power in round 22, 2015, before his WADA-imposed 12-month ban.
