THE BYE rounds are in the rear vision mirror as Fantasy coaches look ahead to the final nine weeks of the season.

Round 15 kicked off on Thursday night with the Tigers taking the four points to remain on top of the ladder.

Jack Riewoldt (136) booted three goals and took a mammoth 16 marks to place his name at the top of the Fantasy scoring table. Ruckman Toby Nankervis (131) was right behind him, tackling his way to his equal highest score of 2018.

Popular vice-captain loophole option Jake Lloyd (125) was the best for the Swans. Skipper Josh Kennedy (119) and Luke Parker (106) were busy in the engine room for the visitors.

Isaac Heeney (18) owners will be disappointed with his output to start another Fantasy weekend. Not only was he having a quiet night, he put on his tracksuit and sat out most of the second half due to concussion.

Although there aren’t the blue dots on players on a bye to deal with, there were plenty of omissions that are causing concern this week.

ALL THE TEAMS Check 'em out

Collingwood has lost Adam Treloar (hamstrings) for what is likely to be the majority of the Fantasy season as he underwent surgery earlier this week. The Pie is the most traded out player this round.

Veterans Matthew Kreuzer (ankle), Mark LeCras (wrist) and Shaun Burgoyne (hamstring) are on the sidelines, causing havoc for Fantasy Draft owners as will the five-week suspension for Jeremy Cameron.

Darcy Byrne-Jones (club suspension) may need to invest in a new alarm clock after sleeping in and missing training on Monday. He was a "bye-round special" after some solid games leading in to the three-week stretch, but has been a disappointment. A trade is in order.

Although they should be on your Fantasy Classic bench, cash cows Pat Wilson, Tim Smith and Logan Austin have all been omitted. Bargain defender Mason Redman (ankle) was on crutches after his second match and subsequently is out for the next 6-8 weeks.

Coming back into their respective sides, especially pleasing for their Draft owners, are Marc Murphy, Mitch Robinson, Michael Walters and Rory Sloane. The latter’s team mate, Rory Laird, is a welcomed addition after a hand injury kept him out over the bye rounds.

Get them in

Brayden Sier (MID, $170,000) is the pick of the downgrades and is coming into the high-scoring Pies line-up on the back of some good form in the VFL. He has been flagged to receive some of the vacant midfield clock cause by Adam Treloar’s injury.

Josh Kelly (MID, $769,000) is the form player of the competition with a three-round average of 133 and a breakeven of just 85. He has pumped out huge scores in the last two weeks against the Suns and Lions and although it should be a bit tougher this week against the more restrictive Hawks, he is a gun.

Jordan De Goey (FWD/MID, $546,000) is a great unique option who is destined to continue the increased midfield role we have witnessed in the last two weeks. He has a breakeven of just 73 and has never scored under 100 when he reaches 23 possessions which is a good sign for the rest of the season. Instant reward against the Suns this week.

Move them on

Adam Treloar (MID, $730,000) has been outstanding, but unfortunately will miss up to 10 weeks after injuring both hamstrings. The bonus is his impressive season average of 108 has ensured he is a nice price, leaving plenty of options to straight swap or even use as a downgrade to a value premium like Matt Crouch.

Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $561,000) has had an underwhelming season since making a move to the forward line, in fact four out of his last five scores have been in the 60s. That’s not a premium return, don’t be fooled by the 90+ season average, trade and don’t look back.

Mason Redman (DEF, $261,000) found his way onto 17 per cent of teams on the back of an impressive debut, which he followed up with an impressive 71 before succumbing to injury late in the fourth quarter last week. The bad news is he will miss the next couple of months and some people have traded him in this week due to his BE of -17. Make sure that is reversed prior to Friday nights lockout.

Calvin's Captains

1. Tom Mitchell - Yes, he had 84 last week but let’s not forget that our beloved pig has scored 140+ in 38 per cent of his games this year. Last year against the Giants he scored 143 and in recent weeks, the GWS team have let premium opposition midfielders off the leash with Zaharakis (143), Gibbs (142) and Crouch (116) all scoring with ease.

2. Dayne Beams – the Gun Lion has played the Dockers seven times in his career for scores of 145, 133, 122, 113, 128, 100 and 102. He has averaged 110 in his last three games and looks set to continue his amazing run against Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

3. Max Gawn - Over the last eight games, ruckman have averaged 105 against Tom Hickey/Billy Longer and the Saints. Gawn had 111 against St Kilda earlier this year, but this one is back at the MCG where Gawn has dominated.

4. Josh Kelly - Despite scoring 138 and 166 in his last two games, Kelly sits at No.4 this week. Hawthorn is the hardest team for midfielders to score against, only conceding 4x120+ scores to mids this year. Kelly did score 136 against the Hawks last year and still should be awesome.

5. Patrick Cripps - He loves playing the Power and has scored 121, 115 and 128 against them in his last three games. Coming off a massive 146 last week, this bull can’t be stopped.
